The Meaning Behind the "Bros."
Gary Lowery, president of Lowery Bros. Chrysler Jeep and Lowery Bros. Infiniti of Syracuse, takes great pride in the name of his dealerships. For those who don't know, the titles are meant to be taken quite literally. The "Bros." stands for brothers Gary and Kevin Lowery. In 1989 Gary and Kevin took over the Jeep dealership on West Genesee Street and named it Lowery Bros. After just a couple of years as partners Kevin was diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, and passed away in 2001 after a 10 year battle with the disease. Kevin was a beloved member of the Lowery family and is deeply missed each and every day. After Kevin's passing, the "Bros." in Lowery Bros. Chrysler Jeep came to mean even more to Gary, as he is proud to say it does and always will represent the great friendship, brotherhood, and partnership between he and his brother Kevin. Lowery Bros. Chrysler Jeep and Lowery Bros. Infiniti of Syracuse operate in loving memory of Kevin F. Lowery every day. The dealership's names will always represent the beloved son, husband, father, uncle, friend, and brother that puts the "Bros." in Lowery Bros.
